The Explosive Sheep Alliance does not use a DKP system, nor do they use the alternative method of Officer-Based Looting.
All Bind on Equip items are greeded. This is a common rule among many guilds and servers. If an item that is BoE drops, it is to be greeded.
Bind on Pick Up items are PASSED. This can not be stressed enough. An item that is BoP is dropped, you will pass. We understand that you can accidentally hit it, but it should not happen regularly. Once everyone has passed, the people who need the item will whisper Seneschal, and he will have those who whispered him roll for it. The winner may loot the body.
Boss Loot Is Set to Master Loot When ESA downs a boss, it will always be on Master Looter. Seneschal will then check the body, and display to the Raid what items are dropped. Item by Item, he will ask who will be rolling for it.
All that need/want the item, whispers Seneschal, with the item linked and their name. It seems so very redundant, but this almost completely eliminates any chance of missing someone or having someone roll of for the wrong item.
The people who whispered Seneschal for the item, will then roll off. The winner will receive the item.
You can only get one Epic per run, and one Blue per run. This means that in one run, you can win an Epic and Blue both, but not two Epics or two Blue items.
You can only roll on one item per boss. You can, however, roll on multiple bosses. If you lose a roll on Boss1, you can roll on Boss2 still. This increases the chances that people go home with atleast one thing.
Bijous that drop are Greed. When running ZG, Bijous drop off many of the mobs. We have every person Greed these. These Bijous are used for Reputation with the Zandalar Tribe and later for the gear-sets offered by the Tribe.
This looting system has been used before and has worked very effectively in the past. It is the most fair way for an Alliance to handle its looting, and we hope everyone that joins can respect the rules and understand their purpose.
The best way to help curb mistakes is to avoid combat looting. We understand that accidents happen, but we plead that everyone does their best to not let it occur.
Any infraction of the rules will result in a temporary removal from our raiding. We go over these rules on Vent, on Raid Chat, and on the website here. There is no excuse for "not knowing." If it happens a second time, you will be removed from the Alliance. Guild leaders will handle any member that breaks the rules in their own manner, and the Alliance has no control in such.
All Loot rules are subject to change and will be explained before handing out loot.
