I will be editing this post to expand it as time allows and as more information comes in. But for now it is adequate. This thread will be about: - How you get saved to instances (Not just by downing bosses) - How to TELL if you are saved to instances Type /raidinfo and it will tell you what instances you are saved to! Easy! - Blizzard's official policy on malicious or unintentional raid saving (Short version: you are completely screwed. But we will make it all better by saying we're sorry. P.S. thanks for the $15.) - Our plan to avoid being a victim of someone else's griefing or ignorance. Assuming the worst, that the person is ignorant about saving, missed/ignored your instructions about how to tell, OR is lying about it. We're getting this finalized and will post the details when we've tested it and confirmed that it works. - Policy every ESA member should know for their own good Dont go into the instance portal until we tell you it is ok. There is no reason to go in early. You're not going to solo any of the trash mobs. If people train mobs, do not touch them, do not heal anybody, stay out of cleave range, they will ignore you.... Please IN THIS THREAD do not name any person(s) believed to be responsible for today's incident. We want to leave this post up.

Yeah, there's zero reason for you to go inside the instance until everyone is ready; as Necro said, you won't be soloing any trash.
We schedule our runs a month in advance. There's no reason for you to run a raid with another group and say, "sorry, I had no idea ESA was going to run something." If you have plans with raiding that instance with us, don't do it with another group. It hurts us and you in the long run.
If you are saved, TELL SOMEONE, or DON'T SIGN UP. You can ruin the night for up to 40 people; we've had it happen in MC before for other people. Don't. Do. It.

Please gives us all the details as to how these instances are saved. I once had someone asked to group with me and then found out they needed to be in a raid group to get into ZG to get herbs or something...don't know if that would do it...I never went in...but don't want to be the one to screw it up for everyone either. More details, please Ell

If you cannot remember the command raidinfo, There is also a button with-in the regular raid screen with all the instances you are saved to.
